Welcome — I’m so glad you’re here.
I write stories that entertain, yes — but also stories that challenge, expose, and ask you to sit with the uncomfortable. Every Trumpet Blows for You, my debut novel, is fiction. But the kind of fiction that gets too close for comfort if you’ve ever worked in a toxic environment, followed a charming leader into chaos, or wondered if you were the only one who saw the cracks forming.
The book is a satire. It’s also a mirror.
I believe that fiction, at its best, tells the truth in ways press releases never will. It gets under your skin, whispers in your ear, and sometimes makes you laugh when you realize the absurdity you’ve been tolerating all along.
You’ll find that theme running through all my work — whether I’m writing novels, essays, or advocating for people with disabilities and their families. Communication is my craft. It always has been. From my first job as an editor to my current role as a voice for the autism and developmental disabilities community, I’ve used storytelling to shine a light on what matters most.
This site is a home for those stories.
The ones that speak truth.
With no apologies. Thanks for reading — I hope you’ll stay awhile.
